It is a great pleasure to announce that Virginio Silue assumes the role as President for L’Ecole des enfants in Côte d’Ivoire, with immediate effect. Virginio has been with the organization for a year in the role as kindergarten teacher. He has been a foundational member to establish our operations in Bouaké. Virginio has displayed enormous passion, devotion and care towards the development of the children along with being a very reliable and resourceful colleague. This evolution of the organization comes after Aboubacar Sylla’s decision to step down from the global board and the governance team in Côte d’Ivoire. I want to thank Aboubacar for his dedication to the establishment of the organization over the past couple of years. In particular the construction of our first classroom which was a very important milestone.
